Held from April 3 to May 2, 2026, the program offered classes five days a week, Wednesday through Sunday, with each session including a one-hour lecture followed by lively and thought-provoking discussions. The faculty member Harshit Mishra conducted sessions in Hindi, which received widespread appreciation.

The program opened with an introductory lecture by Prof. Eva de Clercq, Ghent University, setting the tone for an enriching academic journey. Participants were further benefitted by a special lecture from Prof. Prem Suman Jain, whose insights added depth to the learning experience. The valedictory session featured an address by program faculty Dr. Ashok Kumar Singh and an inspiring speech by ISJS Director Dr. Shrinetra Pandey, both of whom highlighted the importance of Apabhramsa studies in understanding India’s linguistic and cultural heritage, especially centred in Jainism. Participants shared positive feedback, praising the program’s structure, content, and delivery.

At the conclusion, eligible participants were awarded certificates, and the program drew positive feedback from all, underscoring ISJS’s commitment to advancing scholarship in Jain studies and classical languages.
