The year 2025 marked unprecedented global growth in Jain Studies, with leading universities across the US, UK, Europe, India, and other regions launching new chairs, research centers, and doctoral programs.
Nearly 50 PhD scholars are now specializing in the field. This year also saw numerous international conferences and major publications in Jain philosophy, logic, mathematics, and history. Jain Studies is currently taught or researched at over 55 universities worldwide, supported by endowed posts and accredited degree pathways.
This expansion reflects the collective effort of Jain donors and institutions, aligning academic growth with the values of non-violence and pluralism. 2025 may well be remembered as a landmark year, laying strong foundations for the future of Jain scholarship.
