AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON HOLISTIC WELLBEING: A JAIN PERSPECTIVE ORGANISED

Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed-to-be University (SVDU), Vadodara, in association with the International School for Jain Studies (ISJS), Pune, and the Vardhman Charitable Foundation (VCF), USA, organised an International Conference on Holistic Wellbeing: A Jain Perspective on January 31- February 1, 2026, at SVDU.

The inaugural session was addressed by SVDU Founder President Dr. Mansukhbhai Shah, VCF President Dr. Jasvant Modi, and Guest of Honor Dr. Sudhir Shah. The welcome address was delivered by Vice Chancellor Dr. Rajesh P. Bharney, while the vote of thanks was presented by the Conference Organising Secretory, Dr. Ashish Shah.

During the two-day conference, 37 research papers were presented by scholars from various institutions in India and abroad across five academic sessions.

The conference concluded with a valedictory session in which several participants shared their feedback, appreciating both the academic quality of the deliberations and the hospitality extended to them. The final vote of thanks was proposed by the Conference Organising Secretary and ISJS Director Dr. Shrinetra Pandey.
