AN ONLINE FREE ACCESIBLE DICTIONARY BY ISJS LAUNCHED

This resource is an English translation of Paia-sadda-mahannavo, a Prakrit-Hindi dictionary by Pt. Hargovind Das T. Sheth. The dictionary can now be accessible online through prakritdictionary.isjs.in

This digital resource is currently open to user feedback and suggestions, enabling scholars and practitioners worldwide to contribute to its refinement. The dictionary is scheduled for full uploading and completion by October 2026, marking a significant step toward making Prakrit studies more accessible to a global audience.

ISJS encourages student, scholars and Prakrit enthusiasts to explore and actively use this newly launched online dictionary. As the project is in its initial phase, suggestions and feedback are warmly welcomed to further enhance and refine the resource. Feedback may be shared at info@isjs.in
