Internship in Jain Archeology at Bhagwan Shitalnath Chair, Deccan College
Deccan College Post-Graduate and Research Institute, Pune invites
applications for the 3-month internship program in Jain Art and
Archaeology.
The program is offered by Bhagwan Shitalnath Chair for Jain Archaeology (funded by the International School for Jain Studies and Vardhman Charitable Foundation, USA) which is inclined towards creating awareness and academic enthusiasm regarding Jain Heritage, Art, History, and Archaeology. It intends to provide exposure and training to young students in the field of research in Jain studies and to impart experience in data collection, referencing, and research writing.
Two candidates will be selected for the internship which will be conducted on-site at the Deccan College campus. The nature of work includes data collection, referencing, research writing, and developing a short-term project.
