TRANSFORMING EDUCATION WITH AHIMSA: THREE WEEKS TEACHING FOR PEACE
ISJS invites K–12 educators worldwide to Teaching For Peace (TFP.2026), a three-week residential program in India, July 2–22, 2026.
This immersive journey brings ahimsa (nonviolence) into teaching and community life. India becomes a living classroom—through meditation, school visits, Gandhi-related sites, and dialogues with educators and students practicing nonviolence daily.
Program Highlights
Training in ahimsa, meditation, and spiritual reflection
Exploring nonviolence in education, health, conflict resolution, race relations and more
Interactions with students, educators, professionals, and public servants embodying ahimsa
School visits where children practice nonviolence daily
Visits to Gandhi related places and museums
