FREE ONLINE PRAKRIT–HINDI–ENGLISH DICTIONARY – ACCESS NOW

ISJS has partially launched the English translation of Paia-sadda-mahannavo, the renowned Prakrit–Hindi dictionary compiled by Pt. Hargovind Das T. Sheth. This free digital resource is now available worldwide, opening new avenues for scholars, students, and language enthusiasts to explore Prakrit literature through Hindi and English translations.

Planned in four volumes, the first two are now complete:

• Volume I: Words beginning with vowels (a–o)
• Volume II: Words beginning with consonants k–ṇ

The dictionary is now accessible online at prakritdictionary.isjs.in
