ISJS invites applications for its one-month online course on Apabhramsa Language and Grammar in Hindi. This program introduces participants to Apabhramsa, the transitional stage between Prakrit and modern Indo-Aryan languages, with particular emphasis on its role in Jain literature and cultural history.


A few seats are still available. Scholars and students interested in learning the classical languages of India are encouraged to apply for this one month online course.

The medium of instruction will be Hindi, drawing on the authoritative text Siddha-Hema-Shabdanushasana by Acharya Hemachandra.
