ISJS is receiving an encouraging response from researchers, scholars, and students worldwide for its five-week Residential International Summer School in Jainism (ISSJS.2026-5W), scheduled from June 18 to July 22, 2026, in Pune. However, we continue to seek motivated scholars and students to join this summer’s residential programs, especially those interested in an experiential study of Jainism.

Program Highlights

• Intensive study of Jain philosophy, ethics, and culture
• Visits to sacred temples and pilgrimage sites
• Dialogues with Jain ascetics and householders
• Independent research on a chosen theme in Jainism
• Earn 5 academic credit units upon successful completion

Graduate and doctoral students, post-doctoral researchers, and faculty in Philosophy, Religion, Indology, Anthropology, Theology, and related disciplines are encouraged to apply.
