ISJS is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the three-week residential International Summer School in Jain Studies (ISSJS.2026-3W), scheduled from June 18 to July 8, 2026 in Pune, India.

This structured academic program is intended for:

• Undergraduate students in third and fourth year
• Graduate and doctoral scholars pursuing advanced studies
• Post-doctoral researchers
• Full-time teaching-cum-research faculty across relevant disciplines

We particularly welcome scholars specializing in Religion, South Asian Studies, Indology, Anthropology, Theology, and allied disciplines.

Program Highlights:

• Comprehensive immersion in Jain philosophy, cultural traditions, and spiritual practices
• Guided visits to prominent Jain temples and heritage sites in Pune
• Insightful dialogues with Jain ascetics, scholars, and householders
• Scholarly engagement with Jain cultural, ethical, and philosophical frameworks
