ISJS is pleased to invite applications for its five-week residential International Summer School on Jain Studies (ISSJS.2026-5W), to be held from June 18 to July 22, 2026 in Pune, India.
br> This distinguished academic immersion offers participants a unique opportunity to engage deeply with Jain philosophy, ethics, and cultural traditions through:

• Structured classroom learning combined with experiential study
• Immersive visits to revered Jain pilgrimage sites and temples
• Engaging dialogues with Jain ascetics and householders
• Focused individual research on a selected theme in Jainism

The program welcomes graduate and doctoral students, post-doctoral researchers, and full-time teaching faculty from across the globe, particularly those specializing in Philosophy and Religion, South Asian Studies, Indology, Anthropology, Theology, and allied disciplines.
