CALL FOR PAPERS: CONFERENCE ON HOLISTIC WELLBEING: JAIN
PERSPECTIVE
Papers are invited for the upcoming conference on Holistic Wellbeing: Jain Perspective from January 31 to
February 1, 2026. The conference is jointly organized by the Department of Jain Philosophy and Research at
Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, International School for Jain Studies ‘ISJS’, Pune and Vardhaman Charitable Foundation, USA.
The venue of the conference is Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Vadodara, Gujarat. ISJS has collaborated with Sumandeep
Vidyapeeth as an effort to promote Jain studies through the lens of health and wellness.
The primary objective of the conference is to explore the relevance and application of Jain principles in
enhancing holistic well-being. Its aims include:
Exploring Jain spiritual principles and their impact on inner peace, mindfulness, and self-realization
Investigating the role of Jain dietary practices and lifestyle disciplines in modern healthcare and disease
prevention
Promoting research and awareness of Jainism’s applicability in contemporary healthcare, education, and
ethical policymaking
