DR. SHRINETRA PANDEY CHAIRS A SESSION IN A JAINOLOGY CONFERENCE
Dr. Shrinetra Pandey, ISJS Director, chaired a session in a conference at Vardhaman Education and Research
Institute, Pune, on May 16, 2025.
The conference titled Jain Vidya ke Vividh Aayam (Various Dimensions of Jain Knowledge) was organized by Vardhaman Education and Research Institute in collaboration with the Seth Hirachand Nemchand Jain Chair, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, from May 16 to May 17, 2025.
ISJS Director, Dr. Shrinetra Pandey, presided over the first session, which featured five scholarly papers, all adopting a scientific approach to Jain knowledge. Following the presentations, he provided insightful feedback, offering guidance on refining their delivery and strengthening their arguments. In addition, he elaborated on key concepts, helping participants deepen their understanding of Jain studies and enhance the clarity of their presentations.
Dr. Mahaveer Shastri, Professor, Department of Prakrit, Walchand College of Arts and Science, Solapur, was the Guest of Honour of the session, who presented his views on Jain astrology.
