The International School for Jain Studies ‘ISJS’ stands as a beacon of scholarly excellence, dedicated to
fostering a deeper understanding of Jain philosophy, culture, and languages.
As we commemorate Shrut Panchami on May 31, 2025, we honor the preservation of Jain scriptures, which began with
the composition of Shatkhandagam, recorded on Jyeshtha Shukla Panchami by Pushpadanta and Bhutabali.
Since this sacred text is written in Prakrit, the day is also celebrated as Prakrit Language Day, underscoring
the language’s crucial role in transmitting Jain teachings and shaping historical discourse. Recognizing this
rich legacy, ISJS continues to promote an immersive study experience through its specialized Bhagwan Mahavira
Prakrit Fellowship program.
Commemorating World Museum Day on May 18, 2025, The Times of India featured Abhay Prabhavana, the museum of
ideas by the Firodia Institute of Philosophy, Culture, and History, showcasing Jainism’s evolving values through
a scientific and modern lens. Guided by the visionary leadership of Shri Abhay Firodia, this remarkable museum
spans 50+ acres, houses 350 curated artifacts and 30 immersive galleries, bringing Jain heritage to life. Such
magnificent works ensure that Jain wisdom flourishes in contemporary academic circles!
