APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR THE PRAKRIT FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM HAS BEEN EXTENDED TILL JUNE 10
The application deadline for the 9-month Bhagwan Mahavira Prakrit Fellowship, beginning in September 2025, has
been extended to June 10, 2025.
Individuals with a doctorate, postgraduate, or graduate degree in Philosophy, History, Indology, Languages,
Linguistics, or Religious Studies from any accredited institution are eligible to register for this course.
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Jain studies and proficiency in Hindi, Sanskrit, or
Prakrit. The course will be taught in English, using Roman transliteration for Sanskrit and Hindi terms. The
outline of the teaching content is available on the website.
This initiative, supported by ISJS and JAFNA, offers fellowships to outstanding candidates to cover accommodation,
meals, and educational resources. The residential program will take place at the ISJS campus in Pune, India.
