BMPF 2025: FINAL EXAM SCHEDULED
The Bhagwan Mahavira Prakrit Fellowship program has come to a close. Their final examination is scheduled from May
17, 2025 and the certification is expected on May 28, 2025.
Apart from learning the sutras from the 12th-century iconic Prakrit text Siddha-hema-shabdanushasan by Acharya Hemacandra, the course covered several texts from Maharashtri, Shauraseni, Magadhi, and Arddhamagadhi Prakrits as well as some Apabhramsa excerpts.
The participants practiced the ancient language through various exercises in the class, which helped them in identifying roots, constructing sentences, applying rules, and translating passages etc.
