PROF. PETER FLUGEL MEETS ISJS
Prof. Peter Flugel met the ISJS team on his visit to Abhay
Prabhavana, the recently opened iconic museum on Jain values on
January 12, 2025. Prof. Flugel is the Founding Chair of the Centre of
Jaina Studies, and Professor of the Study of Religions and
Philosophies at the Department of History, Religions and Philosophies
in the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of
London.
Accompanied by his wife, Prof. Flugel met the ISJS team cordially and enquired about its activities. Dr. Shrinetra Pandey, Director-ISJS, gifted him the newly published revised edition of Jains in India and Abroad: A Sociological Introduction by Prakash C. Jain published by ISJS in association with DK Printworld, New Delhi.
