The International School for Jain Studies ‘ISJS’ is dedicated to the
study and dissemination of Jain tradition, culture, history, art, and
philosophy. Our mission is to extend the reach of Jain teachings to
every corner of the globe.
ISJS is pleased to announce the 20th edition of its prestigious
International Summer School for Jain Studies, a five-week residential
program, commencing on June 17, 2025, offering an opportunity to
closely observe and engage with Jain practices.
Additionally, ISJS is proud to continue the Bhagwan Mahavira Prakrit
Fellowship, a nine-month course beginning in September 2025,
focusing on Hemachandra’s 12th-century Prakrit grammar, providing
in-depth knowledge of the language and Jain literature.
In line with our commitment to expanding educational offerings, ISJS is
also introducing an online Apabhramsa course for Hindi speakers to
enhance understanding of linguistic and literary heritage of India.
