BHAGWAN MAHAVIRA PRAKRIT FELLOWSHIP AT ITS PEAK
The 5th Bhagwan Mahavira Prakrit Fellowship (BMPF) program is
underway, with participants studying various Prakrit dialects, including
Apabhramsa.
After completing their training in Maharashtri Prakrit, they are now exploring Shauraseni and Apabhramsa, the latter being similar to modern Hindi. Participants are also engaging with selected Prakrit texts to deepen their understanding of Prakrit literature in the context of Jainism and its dramatic works.
