ISJS INAUGURATES 8TH ONLINE WINTER PROGRAM ON JAINISM
On December 28, 2025, ISJS successfully inaugurated its 8th 10-day Online Winter Program on Jainism, reflecting the growing global interest in Jain studies. The International Winter School for Jain Studies (IWSJS.2025), focused on Jain Philosophy and Way of Life, has enrolled 37 participants from the USA, China, Singapore, Japan, Germany, and India. The program runs from December 28, 2025, to January 6, 2026, with daily sessions from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM IST.
The inaugural session was addressed by ISJS Founder and President Dr. Shugan C. Jain, Co-founder Dr. Sulekh C. Jain and Advisor Dr. Narendra Parson. The program began with the recitation of the Namokar Mantra by Harshit Mishra, Research Associate at ISJS. Dr. Shrinetra Pandey, Director of ISJS, welcomed participants, introduced ISJS, and shared important guidelines.
The vote of thanks was extended by Dr. Navin Srivastav, Associates Director of ISJS, while proceedings were conducted by Ms. Pragya Jain, Research Associate. This intensive course offers lectures, interactive sessions, and assignments, enabling participants to explore Jain philosophy, ethics, and culture in depth. On completion, participants will receive a certificate of participation.
