CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: THREE-WEEK RESIDENTIAL INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL IN JAIN STUDIES (ISSJS.2026-3W)

Applications are invited for the three-week residential International Summer School in Jain Studies (ISSJS.2026-3W), organized by ISJS from June 18 to July 8, 2026.

This structured academic program is designed for:

• Undergraduate students (third and fourth year)
• Graduate and doctoral candidates
• Post-doctoral researchers
• Full-time teaching-cum-research faculty

We especially welcome applications from scholars engaged in Religion, South Asian Studies, Indology, Anthropology, Theology, and related fields.

Program Highlights:

• Experiential learning in Jain philosophy and practice
• Visits to Jain sites and temples in Pune
• Interactive dialogues with Jain practitioners
• Academic exposure to Jain cultural, philosophical, and ethical frameworks

Applications are now open. ISJS invites international scholars to participate in this intensive program and advance their understanding of Jainism through a rigorous academic and cultural experience.
