JOIN THE 5-WEEK INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL ON JAIN STUDIES (ISSJS.2026-5W)

ISJS warmly invites applications for its five-week residential International Summer School for Jain Studies (ISSJS.2026-5W), to be held from June 18 to July 22, 2026.

This advanced academic program offers scholars an immersive opportunity to engage deeply with Jain philosophy, ethics, and cultural traditions through:

• Experiential learning and classroom study
• Visits to sacred Jain pilgrimage sites and temples
• Dialogues with Jain ascetics and householders
• Individual research on a chosen topic of Jainism

We invite graduate and PhD students, post-doctoral scholars, and full-time teaching-cum-research faculty from across the world, particularly those specializing in Philosophy and Religion, South Asian Studies, Indology, Anthropology, Theology, and allied disciplines, to join this unique academic journey.
