ISJS AND SUMANDEEP VIDYAPEETH SIGN MOU TO INTEGRATE JAIN PRACTICES IN HEALTHCARE
ISJS and Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University (SVDU),
Gujarat’s largest medical university in Vadodara, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 13, 2025, to advance
Jain studies through the application of Jain principles in healthcare.
ISJS President Dr. Shugan C. Jain and Director Dr. Shrinetra Pandey visited the university to sign the MoU. On behalf of the SVDU, the MoU was signed by Dr. Manoj Kulkarni, Registrar of the university. Dr. Ashish Shah, Controller of Examinations of the university and Prof. Ashok Jetawat, Director, Pacific University, Udaipur were also present.
During the visit, the ISJS delegation also met the founder president of the university Dr. Mansukhbhai Shah. They also had an interaction with a few medical students who are enrolled in the certificate course on Jainology.
