ISJS REPRESENTATION AT ALL INDIA ORIENTAL CONFERENCE
ISJS Research Associate Ms. Pragya Jain presented a paper during
the All India Oriental Conference that took place in Udupi from October
24-26, 2024.
The 51st All India Oriental Conference was organized by Paryaya Shri
Puthige Matha, Central Sanskrit University, and Bharatiya Vidvat
Parishad. There were more than 1100 papers presented on 23
different themes. Prakrit and Jainism was also the theme, headed by
Prof. Mahaveer P. Shastri, Solapur, in which over 40 papers were
presented.
Ms. Pragya Jain presented her paper titled Can AI Meditate: An
Exploration into the Theory and Practice of Jainism’s Dharma
Dhyana on October 24, 2024, which was followed by an interesting
discussion.
The group was also taken to a visit to the nearby pilgrim place Karkal.
