ISJS COLLABORATES WITH THE POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES
ISJS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Polytechnic
University of the Philippines to establish Jain studies as a robust academic
discipline with a vision of contributing to the richness of religious and
philosophical education in Jainism.
The document was signed on November 18, 2024, marking the onset of a new alliance determined to enforce mutual cultural exchange to promote Jain studies as an academic discipline in the Philippines. Both institutes plan to have online collaborations, joint research collaborations, and internships for faculty members and students.
ISJS anticipates creating more opportunities with this collaboration and believes that this outreach activity will enhance the global reach and impact of Jain studies.
