ISJS INVITES ENTRIES FOR BHAGWAN KUNTHUNATH ISJS ANNUAL
AWARDS 2024 AND 2025
ISJS encourages scholarship in academic studies of Jainism and associated
scholarships of international standards. It proposes to institute two (02)
annual awards for the best book & the best research paper/article published
about Jain philosophy/culture/history/ethics and their applications in today’s
world.
To provide greater access and popularise the program, The annual award
program is now enlarged to include entries for 2023 and 2024 together.
ISJS now invites entries for the prestigious Bhagwan Kunthunath ISJS
Annual Awards for the best book (authored and not edited entries) and
research paper/article for two years., i.e. 2023 and 2024. Books and papers
already submitted for 2023 will be considered in this program, so they need
not be resubmitted.
Below are the specifics, rules, and selection criteria:
The award will be given for the publication on Jain
philosophy/culture/history/ethics and their applications in today’s
world.
The prize/award money is INR 1,00,000.00 (for the book) and INR
25,000.00 (for the research article/paper) or equivalent US$ for each
year.
Award will carry a citation. The award and awardees' names will be
published widely.
For awards in 2025, books (authors and not editorial) and papers
published in 2023 and 2024 will be eligible for nomination; for awards
in 2025, will be eligible for nomination.
