SAKAL DIGAMBAR JAIN SAMAJ, PUNE INVITES PRESIDENT ISJS
President-ISJS Dr Shugan C Jain was invited by the Jain Engineers Society,
Pune, and Shree Khandelwal Digambar Jain Samaj, Pune-Pimpri-Chinchwad
for a meeting to discuss the findings of the socio-economic survey of Jains in
India conducted by ISJS during 2017-2019.
The meeting was held at Paras Bhavan on behalf of Sakal Digambar Jain Samaj (All India Digambar Jain Community), Pune on November 4, 2024. The dignitaries at the meeting applauded Dr Jain’s initiative of ISJS. Dr. Shrinetra Pandey, Director, ISJS, accompanied Dr. Jain during his visit and presented ISJS publications to the authorities at Paras Bhavan.
The gathering also congratulated him for receiving the Gyan-Vigyan Ratna Award for Dr Jain’s contribution to the field of science and Jainism in Jahazpur on October 19, 2024.
Dr Prakash Barjatia, Mr Sunil Katariya, and Mr Sheetal Abhaykumar Doshi were present at the meeting.
