ACADEMIC LUMINARY PROF ROBERT ZYDENBOS VISITS ISJS
Renowned scholar Prof. Robert Zydenbos from Germany visited ISJS on
November 6, 2024, marking a day of profound academic exchange and
collaboration. Dr. Shrinetra Pandey, Director, ISJS, felicitated him by
presenting a book ‘Determinism in Shramanic Traditions’ and scarf to him.
Prof. Zydenbos, a distinguished expert in Jain studies and Indology, shared his extensive research, bringing new perspectives to the academic community at ISJS. His insights and expertise in writing on the subject of Jainism for the lay audience provided a unique enriching environment at ISJS.
Accompanied by Mr. Manish Modi, Prof. Zydenbos had attended the grand opening of Abhay Prabhavana – the museum and knowledge center on the previous day. Their short visit was insightful and inspiring.
