Dr. Shrinetra Pandey Presents a Keynote Speech at Savitribai Phule Pune University
Dr. Shrinetra Pandey, ISJS Director (acting), presented a keynote speech at Savitribai Phule Pune University in the inaugural session of their Five-Day National Workshop on Manuscriptology on March 18, 2024.
The workshop was organized by Seth Hirachand Nemchand Jain Chair of the university. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Suresh Gosavi chaired the session. There were more than fifty participants registered for the workshop.
Dr. Pandey provided insights into the origins of the writing tradition, emphasized the value of manuscript studies, and highlighted the need to work on manuscripts to comprehend a culture.
