In this issue, we have an article in English titled Contribution of
Jainism to the Various Disciplines of the Indian Knowledge
System by Dr. Mukesh Mehta. Dr. Mehta is a research associate at
ISJS working on the dictionary project and a faculty member for Prakrit
programs. He is working on the present article for publication in ISJS-
Transactions as a research paper.
The article presents some observations showing the important place of
Jain literature in the Indian knowledge system sharing information on
various subjects incorporated in these scriptures. It shows how the
Jain literature contains a vast repository of knowledge that can be
used to advance people, communities, and humanity.
