Overwhelming Response for the 5th Bhagwan Mahavira Prakrit Fellowship 2024-25
ISJS is glad to have an overwhelming response for the 5th Bhagwan Mahavira Prakrit Fellowship program 2024-25 where the fellows will get to study Prakrit for nine months for an in-depth understanding of the ancient Indian language which is also a chief language of Jain canonical literature.
After four successful batches, ISJS announced the fifth residential program that takes place in Pune. The fellowship covers the cost of study materials, boarding, and lodging in India apart from learning from the experts. This time, the fellowship is secured for the best and the most competent candidates.
The selection committee of the program will shortly conduct interviews and make the final selections for the upcoming batch.
The program is determined to produce serious scholars of Prakrit and is scheduled to begin in September 2024.
