Our vision at ISJS remains steadfast to lead a happy life and make it happier healthier for you, your family and friends and the world at large. Towards this end, we keep on introducing the time tested ancient Indian and Jain wisdom and supporting the same through latest advances in science, technology and developments in coexistence in multi racial, multi philosophies/religions, systems of governance and the changing climate and environment scenario. Our history of not only offering just the philosophy history and culture of Jains along with the schism therein, but their relevance as well as relating them to other philosophies using the Jain principles of Ahimsa (nonviolence) and Multiplicity of viewpoints (Anekantavada) and the lifestyle based on the Aparigraha (limiting acquisitiveness). This is supported by the statistics of scholars and teachers attending our programs from over 25 countries, almost all religious traditions, mix of age groups and gender and so on up to advance the study of Prakrit and Jainism, fostering their deeper understanding and appreciation. At ISJS we are very sensitive to the latest developments in education and research and upgrade our own systems suitably, like use of ONLINE offerings, electronic publications and newsletter etc. The past year has been a testament to our collective dedication, and we are excited to continue this journey together. Last year saw, our parent organisation inaugurating the largest museum in the world of Jain philosophy, history and culture and ISJS is now co-located at the same place.

One of the highlights of this season is the commencement of our Winter Program, which has brought together 60 enthusiastic participants from different parts of the world to get an introductory understanding of Jainism. You will soon hear about our other programs for 2025.

We wish to bring your attention to a significant feature of our newsletter, the "Speak Up" column that continues to play a crucial role for our readers. It offers a platform for scholars and students to voice their thoughts, share insights, and engage in intellectual discourse. We invite you to contribute to "Speak Up" and become an active part of our conversation about Jainism.

As we move forward, let us embrace the opportunities that lie ahead with enthusiasm and determination. Together, we can further our mission, expand our reach, and continue to make meaningful contributions to the study of Prakrit and Jainism. Here's to another year of growth, learning, and shared successes.
