FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK

Dear Reader,

Jai Jinendra!

The International School for Jain Studies (ISJS) expresses profound gratitude for its remarkable achievements in 2024, recognizing the dedication and contributions of its mentors, supporters, participants, and team in advancing Jain studies.

The year 2024 has been marked by a series of significant activities, visits, and programs at ISJS, reflecting our continued commitment to the propagation of Jain studies and education. Throughout the year, ISJS organized numerous lectures covering a wide range of topics related to Jain philosophy, ethics, and culture. These sessions were led by esteemed scholars and provided valuable learning opportunities for students and faculty alike. This year’s Summer Program attracted participants from different countries and varied religious backgrounds. This program offered in- depth discussions on Jain scriptures, languages, and rituals. The workshop on Brahmi script was the most popular program this year.

ISJS continued to build and strengthen its partnerships with various academic institutions worldwide, facilitating scholarly exchange and collaborative research projects. We signed Memorandums of Understanding with the universities in The Philippines, Kenya, and Nepal.

This year also marked a significant milestone with ISJS's move to the Abhay Prabhavna campus. This new location has provided enhanced facilities and a serene environment conducive to academic pursuits and spiritual growth.

We express our gratitude to all the scholars, participants, staff, and supporters who have contributed to the success of ISJS in 2024. Your dedication and efforts have made this year a remarkable one!
