BMPF REACHES A MILESTONE

Bhagwan Mahavira Prakrit Fellowship 2024-25 completed three and a half months of studying the ancient language of Jain scriptures by the first half of December 2024.

Five participants from different parts of the country have joined the batch:

• Ramani Swarna from Delhi
• Suvarna Jain from Pune (Maharashtra)
• Aviral Jain from Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh)
• Akarsh Jain from Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh)
• Rahul Mangsule from Sangli (Maharashtra).

They have completed the declensions and conjugations in Maharashtri Prakrit and are learning the phonetic changes in vowels and conjuncts. The variety of their backgrounds has brought zeal and fervor to the studies.

The batch will appear for their mid-term exam in the first week of January 2025. ISJS wishes them the best in their studies.
