5th Bhagwan Mahavira Prakrit Fellowship 2024-25 Kickstarts
The 5th Bhagwan Mahavira Prakrit Fellowship program 2024-25 begins
on September 1, 2024.
Five participants have arrived at the ISJS campus: Suvarna Jain from Pune (Maharashtra), Ramani Swarna from Delhi, Akarsh Jain from Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Aviral Jain from Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh), and Rahul Mangsule from Sangli (Maharashtra).
All participants are enthusiastic to begin learning Siddha-hema- shabdanushasan before which they will be introduced to the Indian language system and many other introductory topics.
The fellows of this residential program will get to study Prakrit for nine months to gain an in-depth understanding of the ancient Indian language which is also the chief language of Jain canonical literature.
