Research Fellow, Bhagawan Shitalnath Chair for Jain Archaeology, Oshin
Bamb is awarded the prestigious Nehru Trust fellowship award. He has
received this grant to do a small research project on the Jain temples at
Arang, Chhattisgarh, India.
The Bhagwan Shitalnath Chair for Jain Archaeology, funded by the ISJS and
Vardhaman Charitable Foundation, USA, is a part of the Department of
Ancient Indian History, Culture, and Archaeology at Deccan College Post
Graduate and Research Institute (Deemed to be University).
The Small Study and Research Grant Award (Jain Art) is a prestigious award
given by The Nehru Trust for the Indian Collections at the Victoria and Albert
Museum for promoting research in the field of Jain Studies. Mr. Oshin Bamb
is one of the few applicants to get this award. His topic for research will be
An Art-Historical Investigation of the Jain Remains at Arang and its
Vicinity for the year 2024-25.
