ISJS organizes a grand event for its first Bhagwan Kunthunath Annual Award for best book and best paper. Fourteen books and fourteen papers were received from all over the world and the selection committee has declared the award for the following:
Best Book:
1. Digital and Diaspora intertwined frontiers of contemporary Jainism by
Prof. Tine Vekemans.
Best Research Paper (joint award):
1. Commonality and Difference: Jain Philosophical Approaches to Interreligious Studies by
Dr. Anil Mundra.
2. Ascetic Practices in Inter-faith Dialogue – Jain Yoga and Orthodox Hesychasm by
Ms. Nataliia Pavlyk.
The citations and awards are to be held on December 10, 2023 at India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi.
