ONLINE MONTHLY LECTURE ON THE SULTANS OF DELHI IN JAIN LITERATURE BY DR. STEVEN M. VOSE
ISJS announces its 12th lecture in the online monthly lecture series titled “Between History and Memory: The Sultans of Delhi in Jain Literature” which is to be delivered by Dr. Steven Vose on January 13, 2024. The lecture discusses the challenges faced by the Jain community during Muslim rule in India.
The session will be chaired by Dr. Ashok Kumar Singh, Senior Research Fellow, International School for Jain Studies, Pune. He is a renowned scholar of Prakrit and Jain literature and is known for his translation works of Jain canonical texts. He has edited more than a dozen books and has written about sixty research papers.
