FROM THE EDITORS'S DESK
Dear Reader,
Jai Jinendra!
The Jain scholarly community has produced a variety of notable publications in recent decades that have become benchmarks in the field of Jain studies. The newest of such works ought to be acknowledged and encouraged since they set an example for the next generation.
The International School for Jain Studies (ISJS) recognized these efforts with its inaugural Bhagwan Kunthunath Annual Awards for Best Book and Best Research Papers on Jain-related subjects because recognition is inspiring and strengthens community feeling. The ISJS family is proud to present these awards to scholars from across the globe.
Additionally, we successfully concluded our first Bhagwan Naminath Fellowship program for young academics who want to pursue research in Jainism. ISJS looks forward to igniting an interest in many more enthusiasts through its online winter program on Introduction to Jainism. The program opens the door for many newcomers to learn new things about Jainism and set their foot in Jain studies.
ISJS wishes the best to all the enthusiasts working in the course of Jain studies.
