Due to issues raised by Corona virus globally, ISJS extends the deadline to apply for 3-week online summer program on Jain Dharma ‘ISSJS2021-3W’ to June 15, 2021. The program offers an excellent opportunity for overseas and Indian university students, faculty members, and researchers to learn Jainism and its relevance to enhance overall wellness and knowledge. This is designed to cater to the needs of undergraduate and graduate degree holders, PhD candidates, professors and faculty in religion, philosophy, South Asian studies, anthropology and other related subjects (history, art, music, public health, bioethics, education, management etc. who desire to learn about Jainism as a part of their higher education. Classes will be conducted from Monday to Friday. There will be two lectures daily by subject experts/scholars. Each lecture will be of one hour followed by discussions. This program also gives opportunity to interact with Jain householders and saints.
3 Credit Units available at an additional cost.
NB: ISSJS2021-TFP Online is being withdrawn due to difficulties of participation by partner schools. We shall try to offer the same during winter 2021 or summer 2022. Inconvenience is regretted.
