Federation of Jain Associations in North America (JAINA) publishes Special Edition of Jain Digest which includes a brief write-up on ISJS. This issue also includes the efforts done by ISJS so far to set-up the Jain Chairs in American universities.
OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH ISJS
ISJS is looking for 2 (two) Research Associates in Philosophy / Religious Studies / History and Culture. Selected candidates will get the opportunity to work on research projects in these areas related to Jainism particularly as well as to teach international students and scholars; paper presentation in seminars; to edit and publish the articles in research journal.
FIRST JAIN ACADEMIC CONVENTION AT USA
Department of Religious Studies, University of California, Riverside, USA conducted First Jain Academic Convention in collaboration with JAINA’s Academic Liaison Committee on November 07, 2020. In this event, the scholars with Jain-funded academic positions and other Jain studies scholars from North America discussed their teaching and research experiences, projects, national and international collaborations, and future plans.

ISJS invites the research papers for the upcoming issues of its quarterly online research journal “ISJS-Transactions”. Now, the upcoming issues of the journal (starting from October-December 2020 issue) open for the scholars/researchers/faculties for their research papers on various aspects of Jainology, i.e. philosophy, culture, religion, history, archaeology, art & architecture, science, relevance today and many more.
